Earn your Ham License
Do you enjoy tinkering with electronics? Do you like to know how things work such as
radio's, satellites, and even most household electronics?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above then you just might enjoy the exciting and
rewarding hobby of Amateur Radio. The old stigma that Amateur (Ham) Radio is a bunch of
old men that just play with old radios in the basement is long gone. The reality is that people
of all types are involved with ham radio. Young, old, man, woman, and children can all be
envolved as this hobby is growing rapidly here in the Central Georgia area.
There are several diffent ways for you to start the rewarding journey to earning your license.
We hold "Ham Crams" multiple times a year. These events are a unique way to learn what you
need to pass the testing required by the FCC to get your license. They are conducted in one
day where all information is given to you and you are showen how to study for that day and
at the end of the day the test in given.

We conduct a testing session before each meeting of the club and is open to the general
public. Please see the home page of this webiste for the address of the meeting location and
please remeber there is a $15 fee for the testing. If interested in testing at a club meeting feel
